Housing Initiatives

Launch Housing provides specialist homelessness services to assist people to acquire and maintain housing. Our support workers are dedicated professionals who work to improve the lives of people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. We partner with the government, donors, consumers and the broader community to ensure everyone has access to a safe, and affordable home and the services needed to maintain their housing.

Education First Youth Foyers

On any given night in Victoria, around 4,000 young people are homeless. Of this number, over 50 percent are not involved in education or employment. To help address this issue, Launch Housing has opened two Education First Youth Foyers.Read More »

Elizabeth Street Common Ground

Elizabeth Street Common Ground provides permanent, affordable, high-quality housing to 65 people with complex needs who have been chronically homeless, many for more than 10 years. An additional 66 apartments exist for low income workers and students.Read More »

Led by Launch Housing, the Harris Transportable Housing Project is a first-of-its-kind initiative in Victoria to increase housing for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness using vacant government-owned land.Read More »
