Launch Housing South Melbourne supports families at risk of or experiencing homelessness by providing emergency accommodation, case management, specialist supports for children, and assertive outreach services.
South Melbourne offers the Children’s Specialist Support Service (CSSS) to children affected by family violence and homelessness. This program provides educational assessments and support to engage with education for children residing in crisis accommodation, enhanced family case management, children’s counselling, family reparative sessions, assertive outreach and group work to support children’s emotional, and physical wellbeing. It also helps improve education developmental outcomes for primary school-aged children.
Additionally, Launch Housing South Melbourne has a dedicated Pregnancy Outreach Support Worker providing case management, and advocacy for pregnant women experiencing homelessness.
