Transitional Housing & Tenancy Support

Transitional Housing

Transitional housing offers short-term, secure subsidised housing to people at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. People that are part of transitional housing must engage with their support provider to secure long-term housing options.

Launch Housing support workers ensure clients can meet their housing goals, health and wellbeing needs, as well as find the right support services.

Launch Housing’s transitional housing support services offer:

  •  Property and tenancy management
  • Assertive outreach
  • Referrals to community support services
  • Case management

Launch Housing manages over 560 transitional housing properties in Melbourne. Transitional housing tenancies are usually between 3 to 18 months.

Tenancy Plus

Launch Housing Tenancy Plus works to prevent homelessness and support tenants to stay in social housing. Tenancy Plus support workers provide clients with a support plan, case management and assist tenants to maintain housing.

Tenancy Plus support workers can also connect clients to a range of other support services, if needed. Launch Housing Tenancy Plus support services are located at our St Kilda offices.

To find out more, contact a Tenancy Plus worker at Launch Housing St Kilda or Collingwood.*

*Tenancy support services only available to social housing tenants.
