Donating material aid is a tangible way to help people experiencing homelessness in Melbourne. We work with various partners to ensure that donated goods provide the right help, at the right time. We also run donation drives at key times of the year to bring relief and meet the needs of the people and families we support.
Launch Housing runs an annual festive toy drive to bring joy to the over 500 children and young people we support who are at risk of or have experienced homelessness.
Not only do the toys make Christmas extra special for the kids who receive them, but these donations relieve the financial pressure that is often felt by families over the festive season.
Thanks to all our generous partners and supporters in 2025 for making the holidays brighter for hundreds of children.

If you would like to donate second-hand items, you can visit one of the following organisations who help repurpose things of value by directing them to Australians in need. Launch Housing works with these organisations to source items for our clients on an as need basis.
We partner with businesses and community organisations to establish ongoing support for our programs, ensuring a continuous supply of the most in-demand goods for the people and families we support.
Rotary Melbourne and Launch Housing have proudly partnered since 2015.
In that time, Rotary have generously supported hundreds of clients by purchasing and delivering brand new household items to help clients establish their housing.
This includes their Make a House a Home hampers which they purchase and deliver to our sites packed with essentials such as cutlery, crockery and linen for clients moving out of crisis into their home.
Rotary Inner Melbourne Emergency Relief Network
RIMERN has been supporting Launch Housing clients with furniture, appliances and homewares since 2021, giving hundreds of homemakers the fresh start they need, with choice and dignity.
Backed by 22 Melbourne Rotary Clubs and a community of dedicated volunteers, their East Brunswick warehouse is stocked with donated furniture, appliances, and homewares, all at no cost.
Over 100 household setups are provided to Launch clients each year.
