Launch Housing is committed to ending homelessness. We are Victoria’s strongest advocates for affordable housing and believe that access to safe, secure and affordable housing is a fundamental human right.
The substantial body of evidence generated from our research into homelessness helps inform our advocacy for change to government policies, at local, state and national levels, to address Australia’s housing crisis.
Commitments from the Commonwealth Government to increase social and affordable housing supply through the Housing Australia Future Fund (HAFF) program and 769 new social housing homes over the next five years with funding from the Commonwealth Government’s Social Housing Accelerator are widely welcomed. However significantly more social and affordable housing is required to end homelessness.
