Launch Housing is a registered community housing provider and one of Victoria’s largest secular and specialist housing and homelessness organisations passionately committed to ending homelessness.

Ending homelessness starts with creating more homes.  As Melbourne rises to our housing crisis challenge, Launch Housing is building on our legacy of over 75 years' experience in bringing housing solutions to life.

We build end-to-end housing solutions from crisis accommodation to supported, social, and affordable housing. We take immense pride in consistently meeting performance standards, addressing housing needs, and most importantly, building places for people to call home.

With strong relationships with the community, government, philanthropic and commercial sectors, we bring:

Launch Housing Bellfield

Offering more than just housing, Bellfield is a vibrant community hub, a secure haven, and a springboard for new beginnings.

Completed in October 2023, Bellfield sets the standard for social housing with:

• Four-level building delivering 58 homes for low income households in priority need of housing
• Innovative design
• Minimised environmental impact
• Lower living costs

Generous indoor and outdoor communal spaces invite residents to connect and enjoy.

Bellfield is a joint effort between Launch Housing, City of Banyule, and Homes Victoria, with support from ARM and Balmain & Co.

Viv's Place, a groundbreaking supportive housing project for women and children

Viv’s Place is an Australian-first permanent supportive housing project for women and children at risk of or experiencing family violence and homelessness. Completed in August 2022, Viv’s Place is an 8-storey medium-rise building providing:

• 60 women and up to 130 children with a safe, long-term home

• Communal spaces for connection and support

• Resident engagement and wraparound support services, including:

  • Family and child case management through Uniting Family Services

  • The award-winning Education Pathways Program

  • Co-located community services

Viv’s Place was made possible through the collaboration of Launch Housing and the Victorian Government, alongside support from:
